Nike’s first community store for consumers to live, gather and shop

Nike By Sunway illustrates a new concept designed for the local communities and offers a one-of-a-kind space with exceptional shopping experience for members.

The opening of Nike in Sunway Pyramid marks a new milestone for GMG, which currently operates nine Nike mono-stores across Malaysia. Located in the epicentre of fitness and sports, Nike By Sunway is poised to connect sports enthusiasts from all walks of life through a unique human experience. In this brand-new store, customers are hosted by well-informed store athletes and category and style experts in a digitally innovative retail environment with a compelling shopping experience.

Thoughtfully designed and powered by insights, the Nike By Sunway store’s blueprint resembles a home, inviting customers to experience the Best-of-Nike experience. The store is designed as communal space where customers can sit back and connect with fellow sports enthusiasts. Beyond that, Nike by Sunway maintains its iconic Nike footwear display with its thoughtfully localised and seasonal curation. With the Best-of-Nike customer experience in mind, the changing rooms are no exception in creating a memorable try-on journey. The space is donned with elevated mirrors, tuneable lighting and thoughtful details of the try-on journey. Each space in the Nike By Sunway store offers an opportunity for sports enthusiasts to connect and enjoy a personalised shopping experience.

Nike By Sunway has something for everyone; the store itself is a whole new experience. Female shoppers can look forward to personal bra fittings and styling to cater to their active lifestyle. Each store touchpoint is aimed towards creating relatable, authentic, and personal experiences to inspire sporting enthusiasts and nurture the shared love for sports, stated Carl Masterman, Senior VP Retail, SEA – Sports.

Members are invited to reap rewards such as early access to exclusive releases, launches, events and raffle exclusives. The store also offers appointment services for in-store shopping, home delivery and curbside pickup where shoppers can collect their gear at designated points within the mall.

Positioned as a sports shopping destination, Nike By Sunway is set to be the host of community sports activities such as yoga, dance, running and more. It is located Lot no. G167, Jalan PJS 11/15, Bandar Sunway, 47500 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

GMG recently opened its newest Nike concept store in Hong Kong, located in the East Point City shopping mall in the Hang Hau district.
