The new JD store in Riyadh is not just any store—it’s the largest JD outlet in the MENA region, spanning an impressive 9,000 sq. ft. To celebrate the launch, JD has curated a week of thrilling events and activities designed to engage the consumers and showcase what it truly means to elevate retail experiences. Here’s a rundown of what’s in store:
- Exclusive Media and Influencer Preview: On Thursday, 12th of September, guests will enjoy a special preview of the new store, complete with food and beverages, and an in-store henna station.
- Live Entertainment: Also on Thursday, Saudi rapper Lil Eazy will perform alongside DJ Shancoty, powered by Nike, starting at 8 PM.
- Magazine Cover Photobooth: On Friday, 13th of September, the first 100 shoppers will have the chance to be featured on a limited-edition magazine cover, courtesy of adidas.

According to a report by Savills (one of the world’s leading property advisors), Riyadh is expected to be one of the fastest-growing cities by 2033, with a projected 26% population increase and substantial infrastructure investments by the Government. Under a 10-year agreement, GMG plans to open approximately 50 JD stores by 2028, focusing on locations across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait.
