Mohammad A. Baker

Mohammad Baker was appointed to the role of Deputy Chairman of Gulf Marketing Group in 2011 and as Deputy Chairman & CEO in 2014. Mohammad leads the strategic growth of GMG’s business units, diversification initiatives and sports strategy. Mohammad graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Finance and Management with Honours from Suffolk University, Boston.
Amira A. Baker

Amira Baker joined Gulf Marketing Group in 2008 and was appointed to member of the board of directors in 2012. Responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to the business units of the group, Amira plays a key role in launching new businesses. Amira is the Director of Emirates British Nursery. She graduated with a Bachelor in Business Management from The American University of Dubai, UAE in 2004.
Amin Nasser was appointed COO of Gulf Marketing Group in April 2015. He is responsible for the group growth and productivity objectives and initiatives across the Middle East region, working closely with the Group Deputy Chairman Mohammad Baker. Prior to his appointment, Nasser was heading PWC Family Business Forum in UAE and UK since 1980. He was responsible for developing the firm’s strategy in Family Business Advisory Services in the Middle East. Amin’s business advisory and corporate finance experience includes numerous of sectors such as Government body, Oil and gas, Airlines, Manufacturing, construction and trading. He is also member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in England & Wales and the Family Firm Institute in USA
Kapil Sethi was appointed CFO of Gulf Marketing Group in October 2016, having joined the Group in 2012. In his capacity, he is responsible for directing and overseeing GMG financial administration and planning including management of accounting systems, budget planning and implementation, short and long-term forecasting and strategic planning. Prior to joining GMG, he worked as a Director, Assurance services, with PwC, servicing a group of local and international clients across variety of industries such as retail & consumer, engineering & construction, insurance, shipping and telecommunication. He is also member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
President of Food Division
Shehzad Ahmad joined Gulf Marketing Group in April 2013 and is responsible for the profitable growth of Food Division of the Group. He earned his MBA (Marketing) degree in 1997 from the University Institute of Management in India. Prior to joining GMG, he worked with Federal Foods as Director of Business Development where he spent 13 years of his vibrant professional career.
President of Healthcare Division
NS Balasubramanian has been at the forefront of the GMG's Healthcare division since 2003. With an overall holistic approach to healthcare retailing and a passion for nutrition and wellness, Bala has been working in the retail pharmacy industry in the UAE since 1994. Throughout his 22 years of experience he has built two leading chains from modest beginnings.
Bala is a graduate of Pharmacy from Dr MGR Medical University, Madras with State First Rank and Gold Medal.
